About a month ago, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church sent a request for a volunteer to the guild and I responded. I became one of five artists who were part of a series on “using your gifts.” Each week Pastor Tom Pace included references to the artist of the week and his/her work in his sermon. We each had an opportunity to present our work to the congregation. Three of the artists, the sculptor, the poet, the singer are members of the congregation. The potter, my friend Janis Ross, and I were visitors.
