The Texas Museum of Fiber Arts is pleased to announce the juror for the 2011 exhibit, Texas by the Yard and Yarn – Texas a Fabrication. Robert Hils is Chairperson of the Fiber Department of the Southwest School of Arts and Crafts in San Antonio.

Robert Hils has devoted his life to the creation of fiber arts as an instructor and artist. He has been a mentor and friend to many artists and beginning students of fiber arts. His knowledge and skill will enrich the 2011 exhibit.
For an entry application, go to the TMFA website and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Entries entered in previous years may be re-submitted. Other guidelines are also on the application. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
We hope to have fiber art from all over Texas represented. So, y’all get stitchin’, weavin’, feltin’, beadin’, sewin’, embroiderin’, knittin’, and crochetin’ — in summary, get creatin’ like only you can do.
