The exhibit includes textiles from many different countries as well as items made by CHH members.
There was a private reception before the opening and among the attendees were the mayor of Baytown, City Council members, a member of the Mexican Consulate, the president of the Art League, Lee Q. Garcia, Publisher, Editor-in-Chief of Tea in Texas, Janis Ross, potter and president of CAMEO, and Marsha Landers, potter, photographer and member of both the Art League and CAMEO, who work with Mary Welch on the textile part of the exhibit. Diane Ferguson, Marion Sullivan, Lynn Gammon and Mary Welch also were present.
