Instructor Ginny Eckley (left) inspecting the small silk samples done to learn the technique. Then the class went to work planning their two silk scarf projects. These are a few of them.
The second day of the class was devoted to screen printing with paint to layer over the dyed scarves. Participants brought in other items to print on with dye mixed with shaving cream, Setacolor pigment, and screen printing ink.
Lots of dye and paint choices were available as well as a variety of silk screens for printing. Ginny brought all the tools and supplies needed and included in the supply fee.
