Rigid Heddle Next Steps: Hand Manipulated Weaving

Expand your weaving possibilities with your Rigid Heddle loom in this Next Steps class!

Create patterns and textures in your weaving by using a pickup stick or manipulating the warp by hand. You will learn six weaving patterns that can be used as embellishment or to weave a whole project.

3/2 pearl cotton included in class fee for warp and weft.  Directions for warping will be sent out at least 2 weeks prior to class, yarn needs to be picked up prior to class. Bring your own loom with an 12 dent reed and pickup stick, Looms will need to be warped ahead of class. Looms can be rented from CHH, let us know if you need to rent a loom. email guildhouse@weavehouston.org
