Rainstick Sampler

This rain stick is woven over a cardboard mailing tube, using a variety of basket weaving techniques. This is a great project to learn new weaving techniques and try some new
materials. Some of the materials used are reed, painted paper, cane copper, leather and more. Wooden bases are used on each end of the tube. Students will also learn to fill the insides to make it sound like “rain”. This is a two day class, Friday and Saturday. Finished size 21″ long x 2 1/2″ diameter. All levels welcome.

Materials Fee – $20 should be paid by cash or check at the class, payable to Mary Brown.

Time – 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (could run over)
