Next Steps in Tapestry Weaving

This 2-day class will focus on some key color blending techniques and exercises. We’ll cover important concepts: Meet-and-Separate, Regular and Irregular Hatching, Pick-and-Pick, Vertical color changes, etc.

Students should already have some tapestry weaving experience (for example, our “Introduction to Tapestry Weaving” class) and be able to warp your loom. A small loom can be provided if you don’t have one to bring to class. We’ll be working on a small sampler (~ 4 in. x 6 in.) that can be completed in the 2-day class.

Bring your own weaving supplies if you have them. Yarns and tools will also be available as needed. The instructor will contact you as you sign up to see what we need to
provide.
