Market Basket

This basket is a medium market basket – 14″ long x 10″ wide x 7″ tall without handle. A wooden handle will be incorporated into
the basket as it is woven. Various sizes of reed will be used, and it can be woven with natural reed or
with color accents. After the sides are woven, the basket will be rimmed with the traditional lashing
method.

Materials Fee – $25 should be paid by cash or check at the class, payable to Mary Brown.  Materials used will be reed, cane and seagrass. Students need to bring a bucket and towel.

Time – 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (could run over)
