Lidded Storage Basket
Students will learn to weave a round basket base, and how to add spokes to the base of a basket. Basic weaving on the sides and students will have color choices. Other skills learned will be
lashing a rim and how to make a lid. Students will get lots of practice in twining, especially in the lid. This was originally woven as a sewing basket, but it can be used to store almost anything. All levels welcome, experience in twining is helpful, but not required. Finished size approximately 10″ x 6″.
Materials Fee – $20 should be paid by cash or check at the class, payable to Mary Brown. Students need to bring a bucket and towel.
Time – 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (could run over)
