Time to celebrate with Champagne and Cake! The guild has honored a new Life Member. A standing ovation for Peggy Friedrichs who has been a member of the guild since 1982!
Peggy was part of the team who started our annual Show and Sale some 33 years ago, and she co-chaired the event for most of the early years. Our show and sale is one of the most important of guild activities, providing our membership a venue for selling their work. She continues to serve as consultant for the current Sale Co-Chairs. Her history with the guild is impressive – serving as President, Vice President, Past President, Sale Chair, Program Chair and Workshop Chair. She has been not only an active member for many years, but also a contributing one. Her many efforts have been a big part of the reason our group has flourished.
