From Kyla Crawford:
This week we had a mini version for the Kids Fiber Arts Camp for Emma and her brother Nathan. We had class on Tuesday and Thursday for 3 hours each day where we wove and tie dyed. On Tuesday we started weaving on the rigid heddle looms and tie dyed some cotton t-shrits. They came out great, so bright and well designed. Emma and Nathan chose the colors they wanted to weave with and we just started weaving. Emma has woven with the help of her grandma Barbara B. so she wanted to learn different techniques like rya and sumac. Nathan wove stripes and a little bit of tapestry. We had a wonderful time. We are opening the Teen Fiber Camp up to the 8-13 age range so if you could not come to this past camp please sign up for the Teen Fiber art Camp in July.
