Volunteers are needed to help with the demonstrations and make-it-and-take-it event at Houston Mini Maker Faire in George R Brown Convention Center on November 12 & 13, 2016. This year it will be on the first floor and bigger than ever! Always an unusual array of demonstrations, vendors and organizations involved. Last year, the Children’s Museum was there along with an Art Car, and an airplane inside the convention center.
At our booth, we will be weaving on cardboard looms and making small felted balls. Let Ann S. know if you are interested in volunteering! Shift hours are 9 am-2 and 1-6 pm, Saturday and Sunday. She will have information on times, parking, entry tickets, etc. You can also bring a spinning wheel or a project you are working on and demo with that.
If you and your family want to attend but you can’t commit to volunteering, we extend to you our discounted tickets for advance purchases via the online portal – enter the discount code Thanks16 just above the green Order Now button.
