Juror Nicole LaBouff selected Amy’s piece, Modern Landscapes 1, for the CHH Award. Nicole LeBouff PhD, is Assistant Curator of Textiles, Department of Decorative Arts, Textiles, and Sculpture of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA). HGA’s Small Expressions was on exhibit at the Textile Center during the Midwest Weavers Conference held in Minneapolis, Minnesota in June.
CHH began sponsoring the award in 2014 to encourage excellence in technical skills in hand weaving, including form, function and finishing.
